How to use the Spotify’s Enhance Button – Guide
Spotify is introducing a new feature called “Enhance” which will automatically spice up up your playlists with recommended songs that (in theory) match your existing music style and theme. O feature works through a new Enhance button which now appears at the top of playlists. As a result, Spotify’s algorithm will automatically add the recommended songs that it thinks will fit in your playlist. Songs recommended by Enhance are marked with a light green Sparkles icon to indicate that they were not part of your original playlist and can be permanently added by tapping the plus sign button next to the music. However, songs added by Enhance do not overwrite your existing playlists and can be easily removed by unchecking the Enhance button button at the top of your playlist. You also don’t have to worry about recommendations drowning out your original music. Spotify only adds a maximum of 30 songs, with additions spaced every two tracks. Enhanced Playlists are available for Android and iOS and will be released next month to Spotify Premium subscribers in the following countries: Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland , France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom. The company notes that it will expand the feature to other countries in the future.
