How to Use Google Slides Presenter Toolbar – Guide
The three buttons on the presentation mode toolbar are Back, Slide Selector, and Forward. Use the arrows to navigate the presentation. You can also advance to the next slide by clicking anywhere on the screen. However, to go back, you must use the toolbar or the left arrow key on your keyboard. Between the previous and next arrows is a box that displays the current slide number. Clicking on the number brings up a list of all the slides in your presentation. You can use this to jump to any part of the deck during your performance. This is useful when you need to skip certain slides or when you are giving a talk show and want to customize your deck for a specific audience. One of the topics we emphasize in our presentation training course is that interacting with your slides will help you deliver a truly effective visual presentation. Flip to your slides and use your audience attention device (AAD, or hand!) to highlight your presentation.
Start the slide show
As a reminder, you can start your Google Slides presentation in two different ways.
