What is Facebook Watch
Enter Facebook Watch, a streaming service offered by Facebook specifically to its users. It first launched in the US last year and launched globally in September this year. Facebook Watch is a special place for Facebook users to watch videos. You get all the traditional Facebook features for Watch videos like likes, comments, sharing, tagging, etc.

Turn off Watch notifications
Whether you’re fed up with the notifications or just want to get rid of those red counters, it’s okay to turn them off for Watch. Here’s how to do that.
Mobile Apps
Step 1: Open the app and tap the Watch icon in the top bar to go to the Watch screen.
If it’s not available there, tap the three-bar icon in the top right corner and select View it.
Step 2: On the View tab, tap View all followed by Manage.
Step 3: You will be taken to the Manage Your Watchlist page. Here, tap the notification icon next to the page or show whose notifications you want to turn off.
To remove it from your watchlist so you don’t even see their videos in this tab, click the cross and select Remove from watchlist.
Unfortunately, there is no way to do it in bulk. You must turn off notifications for all pages individually.

Step 1: Open the Facebook website in a web browser and click the View option in the left sidebar. You can also go directly to the Facebook watch page.
Step 2: Click on the gear-shaped settings icon next to the Next title in the left sidebar. You will be taken to the Manage Watchlist screen. Click on Updates button to turn off notifications from that page or show.
You can also click on the page or view it directly from the left sidebar. Then click on the notifications button to turn off notifications.
Bonus Tip: Clear Facebook watch history
Like any other platform, Facebook keeps track of all the videos you watched on it. Although the history is not public, it is associated with your account. If you want to clear it, here are the steps.
Mobile Apps
Step 1: Open the Facebook app and tap the three-bar hamburger menu in the top right corner. Then scroll down and tap Settings and privacy.
Step 2: Tap Settings. Scroll down and click on Activity Log.
Step 3: Select Videos you’ve watched from the Category drop-down menu at the top.
Step 4: Tap Delete at the top under Videos you’ve watched to clear the history.

Step 1: Open the Facebook website and click on the small down arrow in the top right corner. Select its Activity Log.
Step 2: Click More on the left sidebar and select Videos you watched from the list.
Step 3: Click Clear video watch history at the top to delete the history.
You can also click the Edit icon next to the individual video and select Delete from it.
What’s next?
Facebook is trying different ways to get people involved in its Watch Platform. They also recently launched the Watch Party, where a user can host a live session for previously uploaded videos on Facebook. Despite Facebook’s several attempts to bring users to its Watch platform, it isn’t getting as much attention for several reasons.
