The easiest way to get around this limit is to set up Windows with a Microsoft account, then add a “local” offline account in its place later. Basically, you can create a free disposable Microsoft account (not linked to your real name or credit card, etc.) and sign in with it during the Windows 11 installation process. Once setup is complete, do not download any apps or download no file. Instead, you can skip straight to the steps below to soon remove the account you just added in place of a new “local” not linked to a Microsoft ID. After following these steps, log out of the account on your PC that has the Microsoft account. Log in to your new local account. Follow steps 1 to 3 again and choose the old Microsoft account from other users and click the Remove button button. This will remove that Microsoft account from your PC, leaving you with just a local account.
