How to Change the privacy settings in Peach
First a quick one tutorial On how to go to and review your privacy settings in Peach as they are tucked away under a few menus. Note: Peach is one mobile- for now only social network meaning you have to use it at all, even if you just want to change the settings, you have to use the free iOS or Android app.
Of the Home view in Peach, tap your profile banner at the top. Then tap the Settings icon on the right side of your profile.

Peach has five categories of privacy settings: Profile Type, Message Visibility, Online Status, Who Can Share My Posts, and Who Can See My Older Posts. Your profile type may be the easiest privacy setting to find out. Your profile can be ‘public’ or ‘personal’. A public profile means that anyone with or without your permission can follow you and anyone can see your posts. A personal (read: private) profile means that only your approved friends on Peach can follow your messages and therefore only they can see them.
The visibility of your message depends on the profile type you choose. If your profile type is public, everyone can view your posts by default, so post visibility is set for everyone. If you have a personal profile, you can choose to limit the visibility of your message to friends only or expand it with friends of friends. (This will give you a little more exposure, but it is up to you based on what makes you feel comfortable.)
Online status is another simple one. You can ‘show’ your online status to others when you are online (via the app) or ‘hide’.
Peach posts have their own permalink and you can control who can access them. Under Who can share my posts? you can choose to let your friends share all your posts, or you can hide the sharing button so only you can use it. If you have a public profile, it is set to everyone by default.
The very vague Who can see my older posts? setting lets you choose who can see your older messages. “Parent” seems to refer to anything that is not already visible up in the timeline of your profile. So people with access to older posts can scroll back in time to see the rest. If you have a public profile, you can choose between “followers” or “just me” for this setting. For personal profiles, the followers option is swapped for approved friends only.
