How to Create Slideshow Using Keynote – Guide

In the dark and distant past of the 1990s, multimedia tools like Macromedia Director (powerful, heavy) and Apple Media Tool (a wonderful and little-known beast) made it possible to create interactive educational, artistic or fun works. They were often distributed on CD-ROM or DVD-ROM, and although these distribution formats have been made obsolete by high-speed networks and flash drives, the Web is not an immediate replacement for outdated interactive multimedia. The director is, surprisingly, available. Although it’s from Adobe, it’s not part of Creative Cloud and hasn’t been updated in a few years. Unless you have a large project in place at the Director, it is probably best to start over. We will use Keynote, the equivalent of Apple’s PowerPoint. It is capable, modern, compatible with iPad and fast. It is suitable for a variety of projects, from a quick test to a style story choose your own adventure. Keynote also comes with some really interesting effects, which you can use to make your project even more amazing. For example, Magic Move is one of them. This effect ‘merges’ an image from a current slide with the next one in the transition. To export your keynote project, click on the File menu. Then click Export to and select PDF from the menu. There are other formats besides PDF, of course, so choose the one you like best.
