A warning prompt is displayed indicating that deleting an entry in the system registry could make the system unstable. Tap Yes to continue.
Step 9: Locate the EnergyEstimationDisabled entry, right-click on it and select Delete.
Tap Yes in the pop-upup to confirm the deletion of the item.
Now create a new item named EnergyEstimationEnabled in the Power folder. This item is responsible for displaying the battery estimate (or what some call “remaining battery life”) on a Windows computer. To do this, proceed with the steps below. Step 10: Right-click on the Power folder in the left pane of the Registry Editor.
Step 11: In the context menu (right-click menu), move your mouse pointer to New and select the option ‘DWORD (32-bit) value’.
Step 12: Rename the newly created item to EnergyEstimationEnabled and tap Enter button
Step 13: Now right click on the EnergyEstimationEnabled entry and select Change.
Step 14: Change the item’s value data to 1 and tap OK.
Step 15: Close the Registry Editor and restart your computer. On reboot, you should now see an estimate of how many hours or minutes of run time your current battery level (in percentage) can provide.
