1. App update
Launch the Windows Store, open the menu to select Downloads and updates.

2. Netflix is turned off

3. Reset and reinstall
Press the Windows key + I shortcut to open Settings and click Apps there.

Termination will stop all associated processes. Handy if the Netflix app isn’t responding, and you can’t use it to not close it either. The Reset option will delete all user data associated with the app and perform a fresh installation. I would recommend you try this next. In the pop-up that follows, click Advanced to select Apply repairs automatically and click Next to follow the on-screen instructions. If it finds something, it will recommend a solution to you accordingly.
5. Firewall settings
Turn off your antivirus and Windows Firewall settings and restart Netflix. Is the Netflix app now working on your Windows 10 computer? If not, you will need to allow the app in the firewall settings. The steps for antivirus depend on the app you are using. Most antivirus programs have a special section for allowing / denying apps installed on the computer. Here’s what it looks like on my computer.
If you can’t find the Netflix item in the inbound rules, you can create a new one. To do this, find and open Windows Defender Firewall, which should open in Control Panel. Click Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall.
You will see a list of apps with two checkboxes on the right. One is for public networks and the other is for private networks. Turn on one or both, depending on what you’re using to stream Netflix. I can’t because my antivirus program manages the settings. If yours is similar, you will need to ‘allow’ Netflix through the antivirus app. The steps should be more or less similar.
6. Flush DNS cache
Usually, if you see the error below, you should follow this step: ‘Oops, something went wrong. We are currently having problems playing this title. Please try again later or select a different title. Error code: U7353. ‘ However, flushing the DNS cache can also help resolve other errors. Open the command prompt with administrator privileges and copy and paste the command below. ipconfig / flushdns
You should see a message stating that the DNS flush was successful. See if Netflix is working again or not.
7. Delete the mspr.hds file
Do not you worry. Deleting this file will not damage your computer. Microsoft developed the said file. Apps like Netflix use it for Digital Rights Management or DRM. If you delete it, the system will automatically generate a new file. Several users were successful with a fresh copy of the file.
Press the Windows key + E shortcut to open the file explorer and search for mspr.hds without quotes in the C drive where you installed your Windows operating system. If you see more than one copy of the file, select all of them and delete them. Restart your computer and restart Netflix. Check if the error code reappears. If you can’t find the file, that’s okay. Proceed to the next point.
8. Update the graphics driver
Open the Device Manager by searching for it in the Start menu and select your graphics driver under Display adapters.
Right click on it to select Update Driver option and wait for a few seconds. Check if the Netflix app is working or not.
9. Disable HECI service
Intel’s Content Protection HECI Service is installed by the Intel Graphics driver. Open the Run prompt by pressing Windows key + R shortcut and typing msconfig before pressing Enter.
Disable Inter (R) Content Protection HECI Service, go back to point 8 above and update your Intel graphics drivers if not already, re-enable HECI service and check if Netflix app is working or not.
If it still doesn’t work, try disabling the service before trying again. If the error persists, turn it back on and proceed to the next step.
10. Allow Netflix GPU access
Maybe the Netflix can’t access the GPU on your motherboard or the dedicated card. This can improve the performance of the app. Open Settings again and find and open Graphics Settings.
Select Universal app from the drop-down menu, then select Netflix. Click Add to add Netflix to GPU.
You should now see the options buttonClick on it to pop-up where you choose High performance. System standard doesn’t cut it.
High performance settings can lead to more data usage because you now stream in better quality.
11. Use browser or Mobile App
I know, not the answer you were looking for, but if you’ve come this far, you still can’t fix the error, then you don’t have a choice. For best results, I recommend Safari or Edge as other browsers limit the resolution to 720p. That’s right. For now, open Netflix in a browser on your computer or watch that series on your smartphone.
