There is no doubt that this mouse is designed for smaller hands. Measuring 4.59 x 2.45 x 1.50 inches, it may not be the right choice for those looking for something to hold. Nonetheless, this miniature form factor means that the Logitech G203 Lightsync remains fairly light at 85 grams. The squat shape of the frame means that the G203 Lightsync is best used with a claw or fingertip grip, although my smaller hands can also sit comfortably in a palm grip. The Logitech G203 Lightsync won’t win any awards for groundbreaking specs. But considering it’s such an inexpensive gaming mouse, there’s still enough under the hood to keep you on your toes. The G203 reaches a maximum resolution of 8,000 DPI, which can be changed in 50DPI increments via a dedicated button below the scroll wheel. There are also two macro buttons located at a comfortable height above the thumb that provide a satisfying, easy-to-hit click. These features work just as well in the office as they do on the battlefield, making the Logitech G203 Lightsync an excellent all-around companion. However, your money is best spent when you get to grips with the Logitech G Hub software. This is where it shows that it pays to choose a device that is geared towards gaming, rather than an everyday pointer. Here, you can assign macros to each of the six programmable buttons and configure the RGB to your liking. Sure, mice like the Logitech G502 Lightspeed and Razer Viper V2 Pro allow you to go much further with your micro settings. For the money you’re spending, there are very few gaming mice that can compete with the G203 Lightsync when you consider pure value. It really is one of the best value for money mice on the market.
