The outer panel of the earpiece features touch-sensitive controls, with the left ear supporting volume down (single tap), track back (1 second long press), and power (3 seconds long press). The right ear can be used for volume up (single tap), playback control (double tap), track forward (1 second long press), call management, and power off. Triple-tap on both ears toggles between three EQ modes: JLab Signature, Balanced, and Bass Boost. There is no neutral or off mode. The JLab Audio GO Air POP True Wireless are inexpensive Βluetooth earphones. They are well built and have a bass rich sound profile that brings extra rumble, punch, and boom to your audio. They do not have app support, but there are several EQ presets that can be cycled using the earphones’ touch-sensor controls. The battery provides about 9 hours of continuous use, and the small charging case holds about three extra charges. The charging cable is built into the case, which is convenient, but if it breaks, you will need to purchase a new pair of headphones. While not as good as more expensive earbuds in terms of noise-canceling features, high-quality calls, and battery life, the Go Air has all the features one would expect in a modern headphone. Touch controls are built into the logo on the outside of each earpiece, so there is less chance of accidentally interrupting your music when adjusting the earbuds. They are also IP-protected, so they can be used safely even after long periods of exercise. On the audio side, they perform well enough; the Go Airs sound warm and energetic, but without the top-end clarity of more expensive models like the 1More Stylish (our favorite sub-$100 model), but they totally crash in the bass department It is. The loud, boomy bass makes them a pleasure to work out, and the included silicone eartips seal out the outside world well. Would you like to use them while listening to the New York Philharmonic or playing burpees in quarantine while listening to MF Doom? Absolutely.
