Yes, you read that right. However, the music or songs will not automatically play when someone visits your profile. They will have to manually play the song in the music section of your profile. Availability of the music Feature
The music feature is currently limited to the mobile apps from Facebook. That is to say, you can only use it on Android and iOS devices. It is not visible on the desktop version of Facebook.

Unless you regularly check your Facebook profile screen, you may not even notice the music part. When you open your profile screen, scroll down and you will find it next to Photos and Life Event Maps. You may need to slide the cards to see the music card on your profile.
How to Add music to FB profile

When a friend taps the Music section of your profile, the songs you added are displayed. Tapping on the song will play a sample (1 minute 30 seconds) of the song.

How to Pin a number on the profile
As mentioned before, you can pin a number to your profile. The pinned song will not only appear in the playlist in the music section, but will also be visible under your name and profile picture. If you’re familiar with Twitter, it’s like a pinned tweet. Note: You can fix only one number. Tapping on the song will play a preview. The user can add it to their profile, view the artist’s page or listen to the full song on Spotify. Now to pin a song, open your playlist by tapping the Music section in your profile. Then press the three-dot icon next to the number you want to pin and select ‘Pin to profile’ from the menu.
Replace a stored number
To unpin or replace a number, tap the three-dot icon next to the pinned number. You can replace it with a new song from Facebook’s music library by tapping Replace song or remove the pinned song entirely by tapping Unpin on the profile. Note: If you have already pinned a number, it will be deleted as a pinned number and the new one will replace it. It is not removed from your playlist.
As you must have noticed in the screenshot above, you can even add the number to your story. To do so, tap on Add to Story button (more on that below). Likewise, you can add any song from your playlist to your story at any time.
How to Remove a number from your profile
To remove a song from your playlist, open the Music section of your profile. Then tap the three-dot icon next to the song you want to delete. Select Remove number from profile. Note: If it is a pinned number, it will also be removed from the pinned area.

All songs you add to your playlist are public by default. So anyone who visits your Facebook profile can view and listen to those songs.
How to Add music to Facebook Stories
To use music in Facebook stories, you have to use the music sticker. The music sticker will play a selected portion of the song for 15 seconds when added to an image or regular background. If the sticker is used on a video, the music will last for as long as the video lasts (less than 15 seconds). There are two ways to add music to your stories.
Method 1: Add music to a colorful background
In that case, you can add music to colorful Facebook backgrounds. For this, here are the steps: Step 1: Tap Add to Story on it home screen of the Facebook app. Then tap Music card present at the top. You may have to swipe the cards to see them all.
Step 2: You will be taken to the Facebook song library screen. Search here and select the number you want to add. Tap the number to preview and finally use Add button to insert it into your story.
Step 3: On the next screen, Facebook will automatically play the popular part of the song. You can view other popular parts or those with lyrics by tapping the star above the slider.
If you don’t like the automatically generated parts, use the slider to go to your favorite part of the song. Tap Done.
Step 4: You will be taken to the story editing screen. Here you will find the song card added to the story. Tap the map to browse different styles. To change the background of the story, tap the color option at the top and select the color you want. You can also use the usual items such as scribbles, text and stickers to customize your story.
Tip: Tap the first icon below the color menu to insert an image from your gallery as wallpaper. Step 5: Tap on Share to Story button to add it to your story.
Method 2: Add music to image from gallery
Here are the steps: Step 1: Capture a new story or select an image or video from the gallery as you normally do when creating stories on Facebook. Step 2: From the story editing screen, tap the sticker icon and select Music sticker.
Step 3: You will be taken to the song library screen. Select the number of your choice here and use the Add button button to add it to the story. Then select the part of the song with the star or scroll bar. Tap Done to confirm.
Step 4: Finally add to your story with Share to Story.
